It’s not too often here at Advanced Imaging Centers that we feature other doctors or offices, not unless we truly believe that they are superb at what they do. This week we have the pleasure of featuring Chris Curry, ARNP, an established member of our community who’s offering some incredible services to patients.
Curry is an advanced registered nurse practitioner who operates out of the Advanced Wellness Center, with locations in Leesburg and Orange City. He specializes in bio-identical hormone therapy, Botox, and auto/personal injury.
Curry is originally from Mexia,Texas where he graduated from Mexia High School. He then later attended The University of Texas, where he played football. After one year with the football program Curry left due to injuries he received, he then became a Naval Aviator. Curry flew H-60 seahawks during Desert Storm, and due to his actions during this conflict, Curry was awarded the Navy Flying Cross and the Silver Star award.
After his service in the Navy, Curry attained his Bachelors in Nursing from the University of Florida. While working at the Tampa General Trauma Center as an RN, Curry obtained his Masters in nursing as an ARNP. Recently, Curry completed his Doctorate of Professional Nursing from the University of Florida.
One of Curry’s main practices is bio-identical hormone therapy. What bio-identical hormone therapy does is let older people regain their healthy balance in their body. It is popular with women going through menopause, since it can relieve hot flashes, night sweats and other common symptoms of menopause. It is also popular with older men because it can increase your libido and relieve the effects of andropause. While bio-identical hormone therapy can also prevent osteoporosis and improve cholesterol levels and protect against heart disease, it is more common for older adults to use.
In addition to bio-identical hormone therapy, Curry also specializes in treating patients who have been in an auto accident or had a personal injury. If you are interested in bio-identical hormone therapy, have recently been in an auto accident, or suffered from a personal injury contact Chris Curry and set up a consultation/appointment. His phone number is 352-702-0850, and you can also email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
