Omaha Imaging recently just wrote a blog post on an article about MRI use for breast cancer.  The article highlights how for high risk patients, adding MRI scans to their breast health routine can help save their lives.  Woman classified as high risk are woman who have a family history of breast cancer or genetic mutations.  They found that the use of MRIs are helpful, because they are better at finding tumors.  However, they are not recommending MRI scans to patients who are at average risk of breast cancer diagnosis.  To learn more, check out Omaha Imaging's Blog!
