Dr. Carrau obtained his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma of Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his internship at VA Medical Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He completed his Neurology residency in Louisiana State University Medical Center and University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He also completed a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Carrau is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology.


He is bilingual in English and Spanish. In 2012, he relocated to Central Florida, and is proud to call Central Florida his home. He treats his patients with compassion, empathy, and knowledge. His commitment is to provide excellent care to his patients and our community.
